Was about to post some negative shit about Givance and he bangs two clutch threes and gets the easy blow by layup. Need more of that from him in the first halves of games, def would like to see him step up big in the next month or so.
Yep. He is in street clothes.McKinney's still out, right? I hope he's okay.

Tough test to say the least.Way to go Miners!! Now…beat Kent State!!
The ball literally bounced straight back to him, over all the other players. If you pressed the pause button right when the ball hit the rim, and then hit rewind with the ball landing back in his hands, that's what it looked like. I've never seen a free throw bounce quite like that. How do we not block out the free throw shooter?
Yeah, I saw we still shot 50% from the field, even going 3-16 from deep.Take away our horrible 3pt shots and we're 26 of 42.
Heard Yellen say they are ranked 33Tough test to say the least.
Great 2pt %, but horrible from 3 and at the line. We've shot over 40% in every game this year.Yeah, I saw we still shot 50% from the field, even going 3-16 from deep.
Yes, because he was injured.I realized late that McKinney barely played if at all in the second half. Anyone else notice that?
YUK...not good. He has been a real igniter.McKinney left the 1st half after grabing his back leg and limping. Looks like a tendon issue. He missed a shot and then pulled out lame coming down the court.
Big Ham hahaha — I’ve been calling him Big D.I think Big Ham was the spark in the first half and Givance was the flame in the second.
Yes 1liner, it is definitely good to see Givance step up from the line. I thought his performance in the second half yesterday in leading the team, and not just his scoring, was a big key in the victory. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of him bringing some consistency to that position.Lil train, I don't know if you remember, but in our pre-season analysis of the players we agreed that it was not good that our point guard (Givance) only shoots 60 something %
from the line when he is prime fouling target at crunch time. Well; he is now at 79+% and leads the team.
Interesting that he really came alive without Mckinney on the floor.Yes 1liner, it is definitely good to see Givance step up from the line. I’d say that’s about accurate. They have games where they shoot in the 30% range. If they do that, we have a chance.ESPN only gives us a 30% chance at beating Kent.
Kent -7
We should just secretly limit our 3pt attempts to like 2 or 3 a half and see what happens.I’d say that’s about accurate. They have games where they shoot in the 30% range. If they do that, we have a chance.

Yeah, they have a “Day 2” link.Must a different link for "Day 2". Can't get anything for tonight's games
I've said it many times, we have been so bad for so long that people forgot how to watch basketball in EPI don't get why the fans stand for defense but don't clap or chant for defense like the old days. Kind of weird just standing and not doing anything until the opponent scores.....When did this happen? I haven't been to a game in years and don't remember this...
