Playing from behind, the Miners will now have to start airing it out, which we know they can do after last week.

Im not expecting Kugler to change his style. I want him to open up to the passing game. For example, USM is opposite of UTEP. They have gone to the spread but lack a solid running game which lost them that Husker game and MSU as well earlier.

With the loss of Lafausa, Kugler may not have any other choice but to pass more.

Yup hip pointers take 2-3 weeks to heal, so I think we are gonna have mix in dome more creative sweeps, reverses, wild miner and I don't know what's the young freshman RBs problem. I forgot his name, but he was supposedly a good RB in the fall

Man poor guy can't catch a break. Really injury prone. I think Travone Hughes is who you are thinking of. It seems he looks lost out there when he plays. Has had a lot of carries for losses and doesent look to confident when he has played.

This team has suffered many injuries but they are still fighting. I feel bad for Darren Laufausa and hope his injury is not serious.

Damn, not good. Kugler has Dallas karma. He signed for this and has for years. Time to show his mettle. but unlike NFL, college football has no free agency

Is there anyone else we can move to RB to help with depth? My guess may be they line up Johnson at TB to help, but that's just me.

Lafussa was playing out of position to begin with. I like the guy he's a hardworker team guy but hes a fullback not a tailback. He could have a future at the next level as a fullback, hes playing out of position at tailback. I hope he gets back soon. We have some talented freshman backs but i dont know if they want to burn their redshirts.

But he came to UTEP for more touches because he felt to got lost in the Washington State plan. Did he not?
