You would think those are the things a coach at the YMCA would say. Just wow!

Try the last 7 years. He's right about 1 thing. I've seen enough this year to know that they are playing and trying their hardest. They just aren't very good collectively. The need to be longer and quicker to rebound better and play better defense. You can't coach that however.

F***** Barbee. The guy had the audacity to build a top 25 squad and asemble the most talented collection of players at UTEP in the last quarter century. Floyd didnt need to be hamstrung with a team with three starters that would play in the nba. Puss*** like Barbee build team through player development and stellar recruiting. Real coaches like Floyd believe in revolving doors and constantly taking chances on guys with questionable character. A stellar plan like that takes at least 15 years to get results. At the end of 25-26 season when UTEP beats mississippi valley state in the first round of the cit, alot of people are going to have to eat crow.
