Not really recruitment linked but still related to the team. Westmoreland had entered the portal and it looks like he hasn't signed on with a team yet. Is there any chance that he comes back to UTEP for his graduate season? Rivals has him listed as a 4-star and I think it would be great to have him back for one last run. He is a tremendous athlete and a team leader.

I’m sure Walden would keep him if he decides to stay. Let’s hope he plays here this upcoming season.
Which would be weird since Walden has stated when he was hired here he only wants guys who want to be here. If they enter the portal then good luck

Exactly what I thought. He got rid of almost a third of the team when he got here because they were considering the transfer portal and he said he didn’t want anyone who doesn’t want to be here.

Yeah they’ve only won 32 games the last 3 years and made bowl games. Surprised he didn’t want to win 3 games a year and not play in one.
Yep not much of a step up from a bottom 10 team to a program that has won 32 games in 3 years. Stupid move.
