Asking how much we are really gonna miss these guys, how we need a team with more toughness and who can come back from adversity.

Unless our current coaching staff have a core group of new players and transfers in their back pocket, and they are all locked and loaded to compete from day one, next season, the logical, decent and honorable thing to do is for them to resign or get terminated and allow the program to rejuvenate with (hopefully) a coach that the program and fans can get behind. The coaches tried, the players tried, the hard-core fans tried, but it didn't work out. There's no shame in trying, but it's time.
Drake was the closest thing to a Cinderella this year and they did it with a bunch of D2 players. So, I assume we'll be raiding Sul Ross's roster.
Not many, if any, are going to walk away from over a million dollars on a contract to be honorable.

We may not know who will be replacing them, but we know Golding's history at UTEP. He sucks at a quick rebuild. Just look at 2022-23. We'll be essentially in that same spot again. And we will assuredly suck again.
He’s not pro Golding either, did you read his recent article? He just knows Utep wasn’t going to let him go this year. Also Floyd was an A hole to him and they didn’t see eye to eye.

I hope so too, but it's been way too silent after the season ended. If we were going to get a new coach, the new coach should already be hired and recruiting the portal hard.

I'm too old to be team manager ... If I was Utep I would get like a hot girl to be team manager. But she has to be hot and there has to be tryouts not like how they have for dance team, where everyone makes it . Then I would have her lead out the team onto the court like the manager does for Mcneese State. I was gonna suggest Krystal Poppin but she isn't a student.
