If UTEP is trying to mimic a minor league baseball team we're in bigger trouble than I thought. We dont need promotions we need to win.
You need promotions if your team isn’t winning. If you have a winning team you don’t need promotions.
Didn’t see any promotions other than fireworks. Everything else is the same they do every year with no results. Speaking about Utep, the dogs proms are great. And I could care less about baseball, but would attend to get a jersey.
Shoot, it must have taken the better part of an hour to come up with those "promos".
Unless they’re giving away autographed Aaron Jones jerseys there’s nothing to be excited about.

To show you how stupid they are, they have fireworks for the NMSU game. You don’t need a promotion for that game. Having fireworks for USM would make more sense.
The last home game vs NMSU drew less than 20,000. This year we will most likely 0-3 playing a game against the worst team on our schedule. I get why they put fireworks there. I expect 14,000.
My ideas that took all of one smoked bowl to come up with.
TT- Orange out night. First 5k fans get special orange UTEP shirt.
NM- Hispanic night. Various local restaurants will be on site for one special night of Hispanic foods at Sun Bowl.
USM- homecoming. Alumni can purchase discounted tickets.
UNT- Halloween. All children with costumes enter game free.
FIU- Military/law enforcers. All military and police enter game free.
UAB- Teachers. All teachers enter game free. Bonus tickets if you bring your class.

See, how ****ing difficult was that to do? It’s not. Even though I don’t agree with some of these, at least he tried and they’re reasonable. UTEP doesn’t even try!
I don’t think you should have more than 1 “free” game per year. Maybe make the teachers pay $3 instead.
Not to thrilled about Hispanic night, since that’s like every night in El Paso. However, it is way better than anything that UTEP came up with.
You came up with actual promos, not themes like UTEP did
Lol good point. I actually just took their theme nights and added promos to them. I figured by the fiu/uab games we would have to give tickets away to get fans in attendance.
You’re not wrong. Like I said, you took a small amount of time to come up with this. There are people employed by UTEP that can’t come up with anything close to this. Sad

They need help for every game. I don’t expect them to average more than 15000 a game .( actual attendance not reported ticket sales.)
they do. Tech and NMSU might pull up the average, but if the team is as bad as everyone thinks they will be, they will need a lot of help. Doing themes ain’t gonna cut it
They already know $5 tickets work. They also need sponsors to buy tickets. NMSU got almost 14k for the GCU basketball game and will get that number again on Saturday. Senter and company need to get off their a$$ and call all businesses around El Paso.
Wrong. When they gave out Aaron Jones bobble heads it helped. When they offered $5 tickets it helped a great deal.
You might be right. But it’s about effort and trying something. To me, this screams no effort and they don’t give a shit.
I’m bringing my father out to Frisco to support the women’s team so there will at least be 3 Miner fans at the tournament
You want a big crowd just have dollar beer night. Get a beer company to sponsor it, and serve them in 10oz cups. Just cut them off at the start of the third quarter. To avoid a demolition derby in the parking lot.

Sounds reasonable. Just have to teach the concession staff how to pour from a keg.
