I would agree but it's Rich Rod with an experienced QB. Utep needs to keep the offense off the field, control the TOP. Gotta get the run game going.
Won’t work with it being 4th and two. No way to run there, less it’s a pitch out to weak side. D knew it was going to be a pass.

I agree with that. Tough catch with good defense. Still, need to make the play so that we’re not put into a position where Dimel gets to choose to run it up the middle on 3rd and 5 and then attempt some dumb ass 4th down play that has no chance.
Offense looks awful. Wow. Hardison looks lost again.

I don't know what ya'll are complaining about. We look like a typical UTEP team.
JSUs defensive front is much smaller than UTEPs OL. UTEP should be lining up in I Form and running right at these guys.
Not worried yet about the O line, defense is always jacked up for the first game. How long they stay that way is the question.
Hopefully it'll change, but their OLine is whooping our DLine and that shouldn't be happening Period!
So far everything that has been hyped up has been severely disappointing thus far. OL and DL are getting pushed around. Hardison has not improved. Dimel spending more time with Hardison hasn't done anything.

Yes definitely catchable. The cb made a good play on the ball after Akharaiyi grabbed it. Still gotta make that play imo.

JSU is throwing different things on offense and our defense can’t seem to figure them out. That’s what a well coached team looks like. .
