UTEP vs Liberty: CUSA Tournament

Sometimes it's possible to pass too much.

Wonder why Big Ham hasn't gotten any minutes this tournament. (Edit: and there he is!)

THIRD FLOP. How could that possibly be called on UTEP?
The Liberty player was not in position and did not have his feet set. Hamilton is allowed to catch and shoot. The Liberty kid should've been called for a foul for encroaching on Hamilton's space and initiating contact. I really don't understand how they call that foul on Hamilton.

I think the elbow to the face attracted more attention than the initiating contact foul. That, and the fact that we’re probably not gonna get the calls against Liberty in general. But I agree with you.

Cause they are C-USA refs. Never read a rule book.
I think CUSA wants Liberty to represent the conference in the tourney and they’ll probably get the benefit of the doubt throughout this week(end).

Kinda like LeBron gets the benefit of the doubt cuz he’s LeBron.

Hamilton's arms were in the air because he was catching and shooting the ball, which he is allowed to do. I don't care that there was contact to the Liberty player's face; if he was out of position, the contact was  HIS fault and he should've been called for the foul. It would be different if he established position and Hamilton charged into him.

Well no shit. That’s why I said I agree with you. Too bad we don’t have a say in this matter. I still think the arm to face is what garnered the attention of this sub par ref crew.

They are killing us inside. Liberty is making 54% of their shots right now, many of them uncontested layups. Does Golding have any plan to take away the layups?

I guess the refs will not be calling any fouls on Cleveland or the other Liberty players.
