UTEP vs NMSU

Uh, no...you obviously mean well, and you probably have good intentions...but, no my friend, not everyone that haunts this site is a UTEP "fan!" There's a collection of known trolls here. Their sole purpose is marginalize and negatively influence the Miner program, Miner fans, and Miner reputation. Why, you ask? That's for another post, but trolls are present everywhere that people communicate throughout the world media. Sports, politics, or whatever...if you can't or won't recognize them, it's on you.
Go, Miners.

Ah, I now see the error of my ways. Thank you for taking the time to educate me in a not at all condescending manner.

Sorry if my views strike you as condescending. Not my intent, at all. Simply trying to express myself in a complete way so that trolls can't exploit them on here.

For crying out loud folks. I'm about to abandon this site again. Not that I expect anyone to care or miss me, but want to put my 2 cents in.

UTEP sports has been on life support for over a decade now. It's been truly awful. Both major men's sports have been virtually unwatchably bad. Some of you can't admit that.

Now, both are showing some signs of life.

Football had some moments this year, and recruiting is looking very promising.

Basketball is looking better. These guys are watchable, and actually fun to watch at times.

These are good things and some of you can't admit that.

There is still a lot cause for concern as both coaches have not clearly shown that they are prepared for this level of competition. Both sports have still kinda sucked at times, and both have shown rays of light. I think next year will tell on both, assuming Golding returns. It's mixed results and it's totally valid for each point of view to think they are right.

Some of you apparently are absolutely obsessed with other posters to the point you must literally sit by your computer waiting to respond to them. There's no one that would waste their time with this site if they weren't a fan. We all want success for UTEP sports, we just have different perspectives on whether we're headed in the right direction and some of you can't respect that. Try having a little respect for fellow fans varying opinions and outlooks. It's fine to be rahrah. It's fine to be doom and gloom. It's not fine to spam the board just because you feel the need to put the other fellow in his place.

end of manifesto
Don't abandon. Give your input. Trust me, UTEP admins and media read it. Now right now everything is a slow drip of poop................poop...............poop. Second, sucks is an understatement. "We all want success for UTEP sports"? Yes. Now in all sincerity Sis, from 2002-03 when this site opened up thanks to DH, there has been totally craziness and nastiness. Kyotte's Den had their share, too.

However, UTEP does have periods of good times and WHAM! All of sudden this site is more popular than the decolletage of Christina Hendricks. UTEP self destructed against NMSU but won two east coast road wins. It's good, but the frustration is Golding. His team are just too damn Helter Skelter and fans are frustrated.

We’ve been over this shit a thousand times.

Coaching is a hard job, but these coaches/AD are paid to win.

Win a conference championship. Get into the NIT and win a game or two. Get into March Madness. Win a bowl game. Every year? No. Maybe every 4 years, or once per coaching tenure?

Are these reasonable expectations?

Not to mention, Bronzeing is near or at the top of the pay scale in CUSA. If UTEP is paying 450k like FIU, we can accept results like last year. The way he is being paid, should result in premium results.
