Giffa looks like every last bit of confidence has been drained from his being. Poor kid. 5000 miles from family, friends or anything familiar.
We've been sloppy on both ends these last couple of times up and down the court
Kalu and Oneyma need to cover those lobs better. Other than that UTEP is playing good defense and shooting is much better.

You’re spot on ax. Drives me crazy this past year but our guards look to shoot first. Our bigs don’t know how to post and hold their spot (with your fanny).

Good defense. USM guards had trouble with UTEP defense and UTEP shot much, much better. Two days ago USM would have been in the game with that horrid shooting by UTEP.
Man, I kinda like Bieniemy playing off the ball. When his feet are set, he can drill that 3. Also like his hesitation drive to the hoop when he gets the ball at or just inside the arc.
Needs to do it on the road.

Kudos to Clardy. He played smart basketball. Very patient. Waited for the chances to come to him. Then capitalized. Played pretty good defense for a freshman who has seen very little court time.
