Nobody has posted this yet, but the Miner women won in overtime. They struggled shooting the ball and were in foul trouble all game long. UAB women got some home cooking thanks to the refs. With that said, to me the game should have gone to a second overtime. UABs top player hit a half court shot that after it was reviewed, was determined not got off in time. It was close, but I thought it was good. I'll take it after all the calls that went against the Miners.

What happened was the game clock didn't start immediately after the missed free throw. It started maybe a second after the miss. The refs must have seen that because there was easily .2 seconds on the clock when the UAB player let go.

While watching some of the ODU-La Tech game the announcers said that the clock and red-light buzzer weren't in sync. While there was time on the clock, it was clear that the red light went off before the ball left her hands. It was determined that the buzzer was the accurate thing to go by. Thank thy lord!
