UTEPFB has hired its new head coach

If they can't announce who it is yet, there must be a reason (pending FCS playoff games, etc.).

Should have just gone with Park as AD. Nothing has changed.

Not liking if its dimel? From reading tweets looks like Kstate fans didnt like his play calling.lol This stinks this doesnt look like a Senter hiring to me.

Wow! A guy with a losing record as HC, 30-39. Very disappointed with the news! There were better choices out there. UTEP going the cheap route again!

Please please don't bring K State offense or we are in for some more terrible years. K State is effective because of Snyder not that offense.

UTEP package perks:

15 cartons of Marlboro per year

Car. 1 Ford Fusion

Membership CC Golf. Nope not EP and not Coronado. Underwood on Fort Bliss

One case of 1800 per year

One get out of jail DUI with an attorney of their choice

They like a big, tough QB who can extend drives with his legs.

Is it too late to get Yanowsky?

It's clear as day UTEP was not willing to go with a young assistant coach. Do we all remember when Bo Pellini and now TAMU coach Jimbo Fisher were looking for a some FBS school to give them a chance during the Mike Price firing from Alabama? They were two of the hottest young assistants in the country. UTEP fans were "Hire Mike Price" but they waited and waited. Nebraska finally gave Pellini a shot and Fisher had to wait longer.

I bet this coach gave an extremely passionate accounting how he resurrected Wyoming back in the late 90's to Senter and Natalicio and some high flung boosters who get to sit in or get a private dinner with the candidate.

I think this is a good hire. I know it's not a name anyone is discussing, but I believe in Dimel.

Lol just saw on a Kansas board he was on his way out at KSU. Had already sold his house. Well he found a home

Based on what? Surely not his record as a head coach.

Lots of offensive records set at KState, most wins as an OC since 2011, 3 winning seasons at Wyoming where he was youngest coach in the nation, was promoted everywhere he's been, after 0-11 came back to win 5 the next season, offenses are always amongst the best in not turning it over, averaged 33 puts per game and 6 yards per play last 7 years, only LSU and Alabama have turned it over less.

Good, I've had enough with your negativety! Good riddance, go away, go to your basement and sulk. No major loss if we lose you on the board.

UTEP has the worst D1 athletic program in the nation, the worst football team in the nation that just finished 0-12 and a men's basketball team with an RPI north of 300 and you're panties are in a wad because I'm being negative? Sounds like you have your nose up the ass of an employee in the UTEP athletic department.

One more thing genius, have you read all of the other posts and threads involving the football coaching hire? Have you noticed a common theme? In case you haven't noticed, 90% of them are negative. Now go finish washing Bob Stulls car.
