Year one you redshirt all of your guys and coach the other guys recruits. Year 2 you throw your freshman in. He loses every game. Year 3, he wins 5 and gets fired. Art Briles came in next and took Dimels team to a bowl. His team was trending up

I'm not enamored with the pic, but we are not Tennessee and Utep Football is not a Powerhouse to say whoa trash or not, when they haven't even coached a game here. He won at Wyoming, he didn't do well at Houston, but would've had a winning season his 4th year. K State is not exciting, but effective and maybe he's a better HC now then he was before. We also need to see what kind of offense he's gonna run, is it the same as K State or not. Point is we're all shocked, but dragging this man theough the first before he's coached a game, his a bit of a stretch for a program with our history. I wanna see us do better to and for right now all we can do is support and hope for the best!
I always have felt Gary Nord left UTEP in good shape. I've said it several times. He should have been given another year. BTW, in Kuglers bowl year KState put 58 on us.
