Look, we beat Western Michigan, and they're #284. Without all our wimpy injuries and punk transfers we'd be top 100.
Let's be fair, Alabama A&M hasn't fired their coach yet.
Were not 351 ...... yet. There's still a half a season left.

I refuse to believe we are the 2nd worst team in the country. I know we're bad.... but we can't be THAT bad.
Maybe you're right. I mean Bill Knight keeps telling us what "strong guard play" we have.
Remember--we had to beat Alaska Fairbanks in OT. I was stationed near fairbanks and went to that university several times. Its program isn't the example of high level basketball that you'd think it would be, given its prestigious location.

Alabama A&M is in a dogfight with Praire View A&M as they try to shed the distinction as college basketball's worst team. This could get interesting.

UTEP just lost. Alabama A&M is actually playing Mississippi Valley State and they are winning 44-38 at the half. Being 351 could actually be a real possibility now.
Remember we almost hosted the CUSA tournament this year but ultimately it stayed in Birmingham. Without the host university qualifying it would have been an embarrassment to the city and our athletics department.
Well Alabama A&M beat the #325 team and we lost to #348 so that honor is probably ours now.
Well we didn't have to wait too long for that. It's funny or maybe sad but when Floyd was hired seven years ago I genuinely thought he would have us competing as one of the best teams in the nation not fighting to be the worst in the entire country.

With this much disinterest in the Basketball program, I wouldn't be surprised to see an increase in the El Paso birthrate 9 months from now.

DANG IT!! As of Sunday morning we still couldn't overtake Alabama A&M, even after their win!
Maybe if we end up at 351 we can have a parade like the Cleveland Browns fans were planning until they screwed up and won a game.....
