Why not hire Rodney Terry as an assistant?
You know who was actually an underrated recruiter was Doc Sadler. He had the Philly Pipeline if I'm not mistaken. Also whatever happened to that assistant BG had that brought in Filberto Rivera? He had the Florida/Puerto Rican pipeline.

The more "we" don't hear anything, the more the possibility that he did get an extension is possible, IMO. Because it would be a pretty unpopular outcome to the core fan base, IMO. Why else keep it hush-hush?

The only extension that should be discussed is "Here's a 2 year extension contingent upon making the NCAA tournament this year. Void if you fail to make the tourney"

At this point I think I trust Tstix more than Senter and Golding.
Same here. The extension has already been submitted. So when they say they’re “working on it,” it likely just means they’re waiting on final approval from the Texas trustees.
The Texas Trustees are probably like, “Are you sure you want to extend him”?
Extension will be announced when they’re forced to, on a Friday at 5pm. 5/23 is perfect for a news dump. If there’s big national news, perfect for releasing it to.
One of the news outlets will have it first, no way we hear it from UTEP first. They are cowards.
At this point, they’re probably used to us rolling in with questionable extensions. The trustees are probably like, Oh, it’s just UT El Paso doing their thing, business as usual.
