People know him but he isnt a Miner Legend . Maybe if he becomes a head coach and takes to Utep to the Tournament. Then maybe he can be a Miner Legend.
Right. Default PG on a very solid team in 2014. A team that didn't have Isaac Hamilton and McKenzie Moore as planned. He had some good games and was very steady, but nothing spectacular.
Agree with that assessment, however would add that he was yet another guard, in a line of many, who couldn’t put the ball in the bucket on a regulars basis. Career 36.5% fg shooter.
Like you said, had some good games. Most memorable to me was he put up like 20-25 against Xavier in an early season tourney in 2014-2015(?) season. Everything he threw up was going in including a 25 foot off the glass 3 pointer down the stretch. A game we won by 3 or 4.
Streak shooter that started out ice cold the year that we lost the three guards to the betting scandal (and like axing mentioned, Isaac Hamilton didn't come as expected). Played a little better when he had to, as he was the only true guard on the team (that's also the year that the Jones brothers joined the basketball team mid season). As with all streak shooters, when he was on he was amazing, but when he was off it was ugly.
