BREAKING: Miners currently hosting a transfer QB and former five-star recruit

Yes he would have done the same at UTEP. He's doing fantastic at Sac State thus far in terms of recruiting. It'll be an interesting comparison to see how good of a head coach he is vs Walden. I wanted Marion out of the candidates for the utep job in 23. I liked Marion's P5 experience and proven success on offense at the FBS level(UNLV). Waldens success was at the FCS level.
He better recruit well there and no he wouldn't have done well here. Sac state raised over $35 million in NIL. You can't compared that to UTEP NIL. If UTEP had that kind of money, Nelson and other highly recruits would have already signed with UTEP. UTEP can barely raise to a $1 million in NIL. Walden is a hell of a recruiter with he's high energy but Marion is the better coach.

If UTEP has a shot, i'm sure the collective can make a way for the NIL money to be there... Keeping it quiet, could also be a smart move, for the time being. In other news, Brennan Marion is recruiting really well at Sac St, could he have done that at UTEP?

Ok, I'll bite...the first half results were indicative of the strength of the teams...the second half was indicative of the coaches philosophy of playing/resting/evaluating his team in a meaningless game. That said, the game was meaningful for what the coach said: it bridged a gap during the schedule between the start of conference play. Make sense?

Right now the collective is in the middle of the 9.15 campaign. I like the campaign. If they can get 1000 people to donate $9.15 a month, which becomes recurring, it becomes almost $110k a year. That's not P5 money but it's a good way to get all the small donors to have an impact. How many on here have committed to the campaign?
