Analysis: Sure UTEP played hard in loss to Tennessee, but is there going to be more?
Effort has never been a question. At what point does UTEP Miners football start improving is the question.

Think like a champion, Act like a champion and play like a champion... that's all we ask..
Perfectly statedTennessee very good. Too much speed and talent to keep it close. Aggie's up next, lets get that win...
worry about next season, next season.
I am not disappointed nor did I expect a winning season. So, I will be buying my season tickets for next year.
Now, we must show some major improvements to get to a bowl game.
Got to ready to "move on up" to the Mountain West side of town..
Think like a champion, Act like a champion and play like a champion... that's all we ask..
It’s Walden’s first yearThe problem is, there hasn't been any improvement whatsoever when playing the power schools--no matter who has been the HC. It's always we hang for a quarter and then get blown way.
Give it time. The recruits are coming. Walden is the right guyAbsolutely no improvement in the offense during the course of the season! None! Senter supposedly hired this offensive genius to attract fans with his high-scoring offense that was supposed to light up the scoreboard? This year’s offense is no better than the slop devised by Kugler or Dimel. Utep scoring offense is ranked 127, NMSU 119, UNM 26, UNLV 8.
Utep hired the wrong coach, again. Should have hired the Unlv offensive coordinator.
Perfectly stated
Not advocating a firing. On paper he can recruit. Let's see how that translates in year 2 and 3. Retention is also key. It’s Walden’s first year
In year one yesSo it's OK if a team loses every game, only as long as they: Think like a champion, Act like a champion and play like a champion... that's all we ask.
Who are the best non-AP recruits he has that will “be back” next year? Not advocating a firing. On paper he can recruit. Let's see how that translates in year 2 and 3. Retention is also key.
Too early to sayWho are the best non-AP recruits he has that will “be back” next year?
After 11 games it’s to early to tell which recruits he had are good?Too early to say
No too early to say who will be back. After 11 games it’s to early to tell which recruits he had are good?
Players so good, fans of Walden can’t even name them!Ah that’s right, the cavalry is coming. So freaking excited.
This isn’t Notre Dane. UTEP is who they are. Always has been. Always will be. 🤡Think like a champion, Act like a champion and play like a champion... that's all we ask..
Players so good, fans of Walden can’t even name them!
I think more and more people are getting fed up with the same old UTEP bullshit.Kudos on Bloom for being vocally critical of a UTEP program! Could be, as he’s gotten older, he’s become a lot more surly and cares not to entertain mediocrity.
I mean the guy stopped live tweeting the game after the first half because he knows. To an extent AB is critical, but outside of those two we don’t need any more kiss asses to these under performing coaching staffs.
One of many to come I’m sure
Ridiculous takeWalden is Rodney Terry 2.0. Good recruiter but can’t coach worth a lick.
