I also believe, though, that GCU had a few players ruled ineligible right before the regular season started; these players should be back when the conference season begins.

But I'm under the impression that these players were available when UTEP played them in the scrimmage. (Can anybody confirm this is true?)

If that's the case, we'll have to see how GCU does during conference season with the makeup that played against UTEP.

Maybe, we want them to do well as they play UNM, Pine Bluff and NMSU x 2. They’ve been decent since going D1, but they’re not very good.
