I actually agree with his assessment. Nobody wanted Alabama be the #2 team but IMO, they were. But looking at his rankings, I have no problem with it and the way that the championship game turned out, I think he was probably right. Yes, TCU beat Michigan but I guarantee Michigan would’ve won that game 9 out of 10 times played. Coming from a former Kansas State coach, he obviously recognized that his strength of conference was pretty poor. But then again, I’m a SEC homer, since my first university that attended was an SEC school. Too bad I didn’t stay and get my degree there.
He has them all they to like number 7. That's a little overboard maybe he has little grudge over them?? He also left UTSA out.I actually agree with his assessment. TCU was the runner-up in the national championship game. The one time they played Michigan, they won. They should be ranked based on what they achieved, not on what would have happened 9 out of 10 times.I actually agree with his assessment. Nobody wanted Alabama be the #2 team but IMO, they were. All I know is TCU should be above Michigan. Dimel will never get a job TCU.This year’s bowl performance by conference was:
Big 12 2-7
Big 10 5-4
SEC 7-5
PAC 12 3-4
Looks like Dimel was on the right track to me, maybe a little too aggressive but that actually makes me respect him more than before. I can get behind TCU being #7 but all of those putting them below #5, were basing it on heart not sound judgement. As I keep telling my friends, it’s not supposed to be based just on record but an overall assessment of record, strength of schedule, head to head, etc. that the committee believes are the top 4 teams in the country. So who do you think the top 4 teams should’ve been? And do you still think TCU is one of them.
I’m sure Dimel can get a great offensive analyst job at TCU. Don’t sell him short!! 😂All I know is TCU should be above Michigan. Dimel will never get a job TCU.
We’re not supposed to use “F” bombs here? My bad!!!Also…if y’all haven’t had a chance yet, check out Kirby Smart’s pregame speech. I probably can’t post it here because of the amount of “f” bombs but after hearing it, I was ready to beat the crap out of TCU too! 😝
Listen to it…the man is a poet with his f bombs!! He takes it to a whole different level! And then imagine Dimel giving the same speech!! 😂We’re not supposed to use “F” bombs here? My bad!!!
That speech was great. I like the way you worded it, “a poet with his f bombs”. Indeed.Listen to it…the man is a poet with his f bombs!! He takes it to a whole different level! And then imagine Dimel giving the same speech!! 😂
I watched that game. Cam Rising got hurt, again and PSU blew the barn doors open.He also has Utah ahead of Penn St., whom I believe crushed Utah in the Rose Bowl. But I do agree with any Big 10 disrespect.
