Pretty much as expected. I don't think any other 1 bid league from this year is going to be projected as a two or more bid league next year either. Its going to be the same song and dance. Teams in this league are going to have to pick up some notable out of conference wins for that projection to change. Plus a win or two in the tournament will help perception. ODU returns experience as does UAB. If UAB had managed a win in the tournament I'm sure that would have turned some heads. I think the Miners could have finished the year where we did, and still would have gottenin with wins over Colorado State and Arizona. Heck, maybe even just Colorado State and Washington. That win over a much more depleted Washington team helped propel ucla into the tourney. At any rate, both UTEP and LA Tech lost at least 3 experienced Seniors so these scribes won't be looking their way.
