I know all of us are excited about a double overtime hoops victory versus a tough opponent, but how about ending the season at 5-7 in football after it looked like we may not win a single game with our injury-plagued team. Even though today's win was ugly, I'll take it. Hopefully, if serves as a springboard for a more experienced, healthier team next year.

They are a representation of their head coach. I'm glad Sean Kugler is leading these young men, and am anticipating even better next season.

Nice to hear on the post game radio broadcast Coach K tell Teich & Bernie the Boozer that he's going to start spring practice late next year, after Spring Break. Give the lads time to heal & recover. Hope the mellowness carries over into the summer & the hitting is not over the top crazy!

UTEP needs road victories, so I will take this win regardless of the opponent.

As for the game itself, very unbalanced play-calling by the OC. Also, who will be our QB next season? What happened to Powell--we burn a redshirt for 1 game? I didn't see him get many carries. Memo to Kugler: recruit a couple of WR's that can catch the ball.
