Don't get excited. Our best chance to make the NCAA tourney in CUSA this season was always to win the conference tourney. Floyd has 2 months to get the team ready for a run. It takes time to get some chemistry going.Floyd has done nothing in 5+ years here at Utep. Every year is a rebuilding year. I'm sick of it ! How many of you still want Floyd coaching this team ? I for one think it's time to say bye bye to Floyd and All of his assistants. Time for fresh new blood.
We need to let this season unfold first don't you think?

Norfolk State had more offensive rebounds than we had total rebounds if I'm not mistaken.
How is that even possible? I'm speechless at how dysfunctional this team has become. All fingers pointed at Floyd and his staff.
Look's like the coaching staff has decided that they don't have the ability to win with the cards they have been dealt, so they are just going to wallow in their sorrows. Not being able to compete on your home court against a Norfolk St. is beyond comprehension. Highly unlikely that Stull will do anything about the situation at the end of the season. Maybe fading into retirement is best for both the AD and the basketball coach.I don't care anymore who gets offended... Floyd has worn out his welcome and has put a shameful product on the court! The Kids, University and fans deserve better! We should blow up Stull's email that we are fed up!
I know I'll get bashed on here but I am sticking with Floyd! He has some good young pieces and when we get jones back I think this team will get headed in the right direction !
We have some good freshman
Jones
Winn
Thomas
Touchet
I am beyond words after losing tonight but I still think this team will turn things around
Here's what I am having trouble with. Winn- 2nd year in the program. Vint-Year 5, Omega- Year 2, Flaggert- Year 3, Caldwell- Year 3, Touchet- Year 2.
Then you add Morris who had Division 1 experience and a year at UTEP. 4 Years of Experience. Artis, Division 1 Experience and a Junior. Lee Moore, 2 years of College Basketball experience and a Junior.
Out of the 200 minutes tonight, only 9 of those minutes were played by guys who were in High School last year.
