I was satisfied with our first half D. Without Boum, our first half offense really, really sucked. Of our guys could shoot we'd be killing them right now.

Saterfield 2 for 3 and 2 steels in too little playing time. Golding needs to give him more time and create some plays to free him up for a few
shots. Kennedy needs to pass first and only shoot when the shot clock expires.

True dat. Doesn't mean we're doing everything right but there is a noticeable difference in defensive intensity.

Sarcasm aside, I do like how hard Golding has the guys playing, and I love what he's done with our D. The thing that will ultimately make or break Golding's time at UTEP will be his ability to recruit here. If he can do it he will be successful here, if not we will be looking for someone else to resurrect the program in a couple of years.
That might do it. With the way we shoot there is no way that we that we score 10 points in the last 4 minutes, let alone overcome a 10 point deficit

Sadly, this was a VERY winnable game. We are going to struggle mightily this year if Boum is the only guy we have that can score.
Goldings first year is all about building a culture, he needs to recruit basketball players not athletes … people who can shoot the damn ball
Attacking the rim has never been Tydus's M.O. that's why he paired well with Williams.
Brutal night. Obviously, the absence of Boum makes a difference, but the other guys failed miserably to step up. The shooting effort wasn't even elementary level.
