If Sucky Walden goes 3-9 next year, the same fans that love to lose will be screaming patience again. Some of us on here recognized a while ago that he is not the guy, while others insist to give time/patience. Those guys need to quit with the excuses now.
Unless we need to hide something illegal.Would love to see it. Since Senter has such a lousy track record maybe UTEP Athletics can contract all hiring decisions to Mario Mocca?
If he goes 3-9 next season, I will be jumping off the bandwagon. If Sucky Walden goes 3-9 next year, the same fans that love to lose will be screaming patience again.

After reading the threads, it’s clear the bandwagon is full. I used to be a hopeful optimist, but UTEP has turned me into a “prove it on the field first” skeptic. Now, I automatically assume we are who we’ve always been. Plenty of people are preaching patience and hyping up recruiting classes, but I’ve heard that throughout my entire UTEP fandom, and rarely has it ever panned out.I don't think anyone is on a wagon right now. I haven't seen a Walden fan on here, everyone is just waiting to see.
I am the same way. We were supposed to win CUSA Championships and NCAA Tournament games with Terry’s first cream of the crop recruiting class and look what happened. After reading the threads, it’s clear the bandwagon is full. Agree 100%. The bandwagon has a way of building up any tiny bit of positivity into a championship. We all want to be competitive, not to mention championship contenders, but we can't even make it out of the bottom third in a lousy conference. After reading the threads, it’s clear the bandwagon is full. That’s the thing though, Terry and Bronzeing weren’t “budget hires”. Senter paid them more than their previous job. It’s time to go back to hiring assistants and if they leave after 2 years, that’s good. That’s means they were moderately successful.Agree 100%. I'm tired of the second rate, let's catch a coach "on the way up" and hope for the best, budget hires. Give me the guy that might have some baggage but has proven he know how to recruit and coach.
For football, that’s absolutely the right approach. No more one hit wonders or unproven names. We need coaches with a track record of success at the FBS level. These proven coaches are out there getting hired at G5 schools and achieving results for salaries similar to what we offer.Agree 100%.
