With the Miners being 4-5 and needing 2 of the final 3 to be bowl eligible, has UTEP ever won a game 2 Hrs ahead of El Paso?

It's assumed UTEP will lose to La Tech and beat UNT. So the question is--will UTEP be able to get a W in Norfolk? Win and the Sunny will be rockin the following week vs Tech, lose and it will be empty.

Unequivocally, no we've never won a game in the Eastern time zone. We did tie West Virginia in Morgantown in 1949, though. I really like our chances against ODU because I don't think they're all that good. But, the noon start worries me.

UTEP better win this game. Very winnable and will have confidence soaring going into La Tech. ODU is going through FBS growing pains like UTSA is. They have only one FBS win this year and that was a close one against FBS and CUSA newbie 49'ers who are struggling playing FBS level football.

Two. ODU also won a road game at Eastern Michigan of the MAC. Eastern Michigan isn't exactly good, but they are FBS and it was a road win.
