Watching the Tech vs Oklahoma State game heard that the current Texas Tech roster is currently built of 13 players from the Juco/New Graduate Transfer Policy that went in to affect. Basicially came down to needing a quick fix of physically mature players.
The Juco players are a risk, but this new staff will have very limited options next season. Building your roster only from the high school ranks is changing as teams can now load up on players that were looking for playing time at bigger schools.
Was wondering if anyone knew how many players combined we have on this current roster of the same total of Juco and Graduate transfers.
Go spread offense and then go out and find players that can fit the system and put up points. I'll gladly give 28 pts if we can find a coach that can get 40 and have us in a shootout every week at least I would enjoy watching the game. We need a serious recruiter going forward with this program. And as much as we all want El Past recruits to succeed we need someone that will go into any state and exhaust all options to get guys with size and speed.
