so as of right this second what are you more excited about Utep football or basketball? If you could only pick one to finish the season with who would it be? Yes stupid question but I'm bored right now

Football for me and its not even close. I schedule my life around UTEP football. Im excited about the future and its our most visible sport. The key to UTEP Athletics future is the football program.
Basketball is different its pretty much four months of exhibition games leading up to our one week season in Birmingham. You cant talk trash to alumns from other schools about basketball because very few care. I hope we win and i will support the program but being in the nineteenth ranked conference and having a meaningless regular season really hurts the excitement. It means alot more to win in football a lot more eyeballs around the country on the football program.

I guess I should answer too its BB for me by far!! I remember going to those Georgetown games with my dad and how the sec used to be!! I miss that atmosphere the most
Basketball. Football season is over. We lost to Arkansas and our passing game was suppose to improve but it looked horrible a top notch SEC defense. Our short QB did nothing against their defense and he sucks. If our passing game truly improved, we should have thrown for over 300 yards against Arkansas. Kugler is like Price. At least in basketball we win 20 plus games a year plating mostly mediocre teams in a weak ass CUSA. Floyd has done a hell of a job in 5 years here.He has done a hell of a job improving the basketball team from year to year.

Do like and follow/support UTEP football and get excited when they are doing well, but BASKETBALL every day, all day!
