Had Stull included buyout clauses in the contracts for Billy Clyde, Doc, & Barbee - UTEP would have added somewhere about $1M to its bottom line.

So when Natalicio says we do more with less, that's because you made horrible decisions.

We didn't even force BG to sign his contract.

Do we really think A&M, Nebraska and Auburn would not think twice about forking over maybe $300k to get their guy, c'mon Stull - idiotic decision making.

Yep, 300k to a school like A$M, Auburn, Nebraska is pocket change. BG not signing hid contract really showed that Stull had no balls and was pushover.

The other side of the token is had those coaches not been successful then we are stuck with a coach we can’t afford to fire. For a G5 program like UTEP one bad hire with a high buyout clause can set us back financially for a long time.

No agent is going to let his client/coach sign a contract with a million dollar buyout when you only pay him 300k. He'll say if my client means this much to you then pay him a little more.
