Jones is tall and athletic. He should be good for some rebounds and blocking/altering shots, but I didn't see great touch (yet) getting the ball in the hoop under the basket. No post player stood out to me. Willms didn't play.

Thomas and Romine will be studs for UTEP one day. They are freshman. I don't think they will be game changers this year.

Ok everyone, here is my big surprise player that everyone is overlooking!!!
13 Victor Mbachu, I saw him play today and saw that he can flat out penetrate the boards, passes the basketball really well and has an awesome crossover.
Where has he been hiding?
