Defense is playing great. What a turn around.
Given that our offense keeps giving away the ball the D hasn't been bad so far. One sustained drive for Liberty. Unfortunately our offense has sucked
I stopped asking myself that question decades ago.
Man apparently NMSU was the learning game Liberty needed to beat the rest of CUSA.

On that long lass completion some defender came on the blitz from the edge. That guy was going so wide he was taking the scenic route.
Defense wins games but let’s hope the offense can step up as well.
I wonder if Liberty thought this game would have been a gimme and didn’t properly prepare.
Bad play call. Even if the ball hadn't been tipped he wouldn't have made the first down
I've noticed other teams have receivers wide open all the time and we struggle to complete passes to the running back. Have we had a wide open long yardage completion in the first three games?
The injury to Cooley I would assume has something to do with their offense. Game plan seemed to be around him while he was in there
Scotty Walden play calling is extremely suspect! Skylar should have 3 ints, and should holding the clipboard.
Wtf was that? Where is the fast and fearless?!
Such an unagressive series by Walden. 1:32 is enough time to try to score. I would be fine with the conservative play calling if we were ahead, even tied. But we need points. Weak.
We were sold on Walden bringing in a high flying, high scoring offense. We've scored 34 points in 2 and a half games and 10 in 6 quarters v. FBS schools. Dimel could do that.

That was new coach hire talk, but then again Salty can make one throw deep and it's another 7.
Not making any excuses for the guy but skyler looks banged up already. More than likely why he just hands it off to Jackson every rpo. He’s made the wrong read a few times this game where if he would have kept it and ran we would have gotten more yardage than the handoff
I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. Well obviously since I'm a UTEP fan.
Just heard on the broadcast that we are dominating time of possession I take back all of my criticisms of the offense. If there is one thing that I learned from our two previous coaches it's that time if possession is the only stat that counts.
