Did these 3 schools just hurt themselves for future expansion?? With these schools going to the Sun Belt they opened the door for FCS schools to come up. They also opened the door for Liberty to join a conference. When the AAC looks to expand, they will have more options to pick from. Southern Miss was probably next in line for the AAC.

Doubt it. The AAC wants metro areas and Hattiesburg is defintely not that.

They also want schools with big budgets and new or plans to build new facilities. Also something USM is definitely not.
