That is good news as the field of available recruits continues to dwindle on a daily basis. I think it'll take a bit of time to adjust to the speed of the college game, but I definitely like the skill set McSwig is gonna bring to the table.

Correct. 21 if I'm not mistaken. Can you imagine a 24 year old senior if he sticks around for the next four years? Reminiscent of BYU's players who interrupt their studies/sports to go on their missions and come back to finish their collegiate career as grown ass men.

After 5 years, i'm looking for a little more than just "we can maybe win 20 games and be good!". I would normally give CTF the benefit of the doubt, since this is a rebuilding year. Problem is, every year has been a rebuilding year since he's been here.

We can't even win a mediocre conference, and I see no evidence of reversing that trend with the current recruiting class. We haven't event addressed our biggest issue, which everyone knows is a lack of PG's

I'm sure Floyd and staff are hard at work in their search for guards, but there aren't many (if any) PG's left that are going to make any kind of real impact.

This is hardly any consolation but the Miners will be good in 2-3 years...if this team stays together and we don't continue the trend of always being on the rebuild. I'm not good with 20 wins typically, but I think that would point towards success if we reach that mark next year unfortunately. Perhaps we can pull a UAB unexpectedly.

Honestly, not that excited.

I was hoping for some bigger news. I hope that bigger news will still come during this signing period. One of the last things said was that we needed to be better at the guard position. We haven't signed a PG in either signing period yet. We lost Cedric and Vince but haven't signed a PF yet. I know they list Thomas as one but he is only 190 pounds and is considered a wing by some sites.

I hope Mcswiggan is that hidden gem that everyone in college basketball missed. But a guy recruited by e-mailing mix tapes, a guy who had nowhere else to go, isn't something to get overly excited about.

This guy plays the same position that Touchet and Flaggert play. In case you didn't know, those guys are future NBA studs according to most posters on here. This English chap is not far off either. Everybody knows that England produces the best college and pro basketball players. Don't sleep on this kid. Maybe you haven't seen any of his mixtapes? This guy will be all-CUSA first team next year and future lottery pick.

Yeah, carolitos, this board is just littered with predictions from the many many posters predicting NBA stardom from Touchet and Flaggart. That smoke you constantly blow from out of your ass gets old really quick dude.
