Gotta dig deep to find the bronze nugget in the pile of poo.Ah an optimist, yes that's good. Like buying the winning lottery ticket, then going into a coma for the rest of your life after a horrific night shooting the three (or a car accident.).

Hardy is really good though60% tough to beat. Big men were mostly absent in the 2nd half. Dread or dead from 3 again. FT much better.
Wilson and Senter need to have a talk with Kevin Baker. He is breaking the rule of going into the game with a 50/50 chance of winning. He is at like 80/20. It is unacceptable being in 3rd place in CUSA and beating the best team in the league. He is making the other coaches look bad.Congrats to them!
Interesting that the most successful coach at UTEP currently was hired by previous regime.Wilson and Senter need to have a talk with Kevin Baker. Congrats to Kevin and his team. Keep it up.
All that does is confirm to Senter that all coaches need 5+ years.Interesting that the most successful coach at UTEP currently was hired by previous regime.

Where's Curly & Moe?Wilson and Senter need to have a talk with Kevin Baker. He is breaking the rule of going into the game with a 50/50 chance of winning. He is at like 80/20. Need 5+ years to be in 3rd place, 14-6 overall, and still 3 games behind 1st place? All that does is confirm to Senter that all coaches need 5+ years.
Better than anything the men’s team has done recently.Need 5+ years to be in 3rd place, 14-6 overall, and still 3 games behind 1st place?
Does Kevin Baker make $750,000? Have the women ever been ranked? Won the national title? Made 17 NCAA tournaments?Better than anything the men’s team has done recently.
No, yes, no, no.Does Kevin Baker make $750,000? Have the women ever been ranked? Won the national title? Made 17 NCAA tournaments?
My point is, that is fine for womens basketball. It’s not good enough for the men’s team. More pressure should be on Bronzeing and OffSenter. No, yes, no, no.
Whats your point? Past success is irrelevant according to you.
Moe has checked in.Does Kevin Baker make $750,000? Have the women ever been ranked? Won the national title? Made 17 NCAA tournaments?
You’re mad cuz of his salary. We haven’t done shit in the last 30 years that entitles us to anything more than what we do.My point is, that is fine for womens basketball. It’s not good enough for the men’s team. More pressure should be on Bronzeing and OffSenter.
Past successes are irrelevant to recruits, tv networks, and conferences, the most important things. They are relevant to fan expectations and a standard set for your program.
To be fair the three-pointers were at 20' 9" back then.Speaking of Nigel Hawkins, remember the good ol’ days when we thought 34% from 3 was bad?
We’d be top 3-4 in CUSA if we shot at that clip now.
Point taken, devel, but me thinks you are being too fair.To be fair the three-pointers were at 20' 9" back then.
Yes, we are a very awful shooting team, the bottom of the barrel.Point taken, devel, but me thinks you are being too fair.
The season before the 3 point line change and the season following the change, there was only a 1.1 percent difference amongst D1 cbb teams at the time the data was compared.
What are we at…27.5 - 28%, or something like that?
We suck!!
Mid-season update: 3-point shooting in men's college basketball is pretty much back to normal in 2020
We looked at the data from 3,780 games played so far this season (about double the amount since we last checked) and 3-point accuracy has just about returned to the level it was at when the line was a few feet closer to the basket.www.ncaa.com
