What happened? Just saw the score and it wasn’t even close. Just interested in our future conference mates. Good to see Sam Houston with a strong win.

The two best teams NMSU and Grand Canyon both came to Texas and got Absolutely Smashed!!!!!
I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing??? It’s good to see NMSU blown out because they sweep us every year. If they blew out NMSU like that , they would blow out UTEP even worse.
The WAC has been very interesting this year. Many were speculating that it could potentially be a two bid league this year but upsets from Sam Houston and others will not help that cause.
We'll never know because Sam Houston came down here For the tournament last month and got blown out by Bradley 1st round
Off nights happen all the time. We went on the road for a conference game against a team with a very similar ranking. SHSU (228) ODU (220) and didn't exactly get blown out.
I'll say this again and I don't care who disagrees. After the realignment, CUSA will be a better Basketball Conference top to bottom!
Sam Houston just beat Grand Canyon today, which had 14 wins before today. Wow, Sam Houston.
Saw them in the Sun Carnival tourney, they weren't overly impressive. Not sure if NMSU is a paper tiger or a quality team.
Knocked the two best teams in the WAC off. Have won 5 straight. 8 out of their last 9. They figured something out since the Sun Carnival Tourney.
Like every year we hear how that great they are after they sweep teams like Chicago St and Bakersfield. Then they lose first round after a weak automatic bid.
Grand Canyon was the same last year thinking they were going to be some dark horse
Oh, NMSU says they're a quality team. They've just been telling SHSU folks how lucky the Kats were to beat them by 25 points. lol
