OT: Budget woes cut some UNM sports

They cut men's soccer. Albuquerque is a soccer crazy town and college soccer didnt work. That's exactly why mens soccer wouldn't work here and why it will never happen.

This is what I try to explain to people who talk about UTEP adding men's soccer, wrestling, swimming or powerlifting.... even a team that wins doesn't mean it will generate revenue to sustain itself. These sports don't get the crowds that even an 0-12 football does.

This is something the "UTEP should drop football and add baseball" people never seem to get... and that's not even considering Title IX.
