People of San Antonio have been worried that Spurs might move to the new Arena in Austin. There's alot of value in moving to Austin and The Spurs will play 2 games there over the course of the next 2 seasons. A Mexico City game is on the schedule but that has nothing to do with their flirtation with Austin.
But it is related, the Spurs are looking at a possible move out of San Antonio. The City Council had to approve the loss of four home games (2 to Austin and 2 to Mexico City). There truly is more corporate money available in either one of those cities than in San Antonio and we all know money talks.

Signing Darwin Machis and Alfredo Talavera showed some hopes of contending too.
That Talavera signing may be the best signing they’ve had. He made some great saves yesterday and he may just keep them from paying that penalty again this year.

All these media companies just want to nickel and dime everyone. Disney just raised the price on all their streaming services. How much longer before people get sick of paying for so many different packages?
