OT: Investing

Sure fili, I’ll pitch in. Send me your bank account numbers so I can deposit the money! Routing, savings, checking, credit cards, will do. Oh yea don’t forget the expiration dates and security codes.

More shits / giggles than anything else. In June of 2022, I received an offer from Wells Fargo to open an AI intuitive Investment account. I forget the promotion but I believe they matched your initial deposit up to $500. Something along those lines. I opened an account with $500 and I deposit $25 a month. I selected the second to highest aggressive option. It’s completely AI managed. I am definitely not depending on this for my retirement or anything. Just a flyer. So far it’s up 11% since inception and up 16% the last twelve months. Mildly interesting.

Are they investing in individual stocks or ETFs/funds?

No, 12% of my portfolio is in a fixed income account. I believe it’s returning a 5.5% fixed rate.

Oh. lol That was so confusing because you made it seem like were getting 12% interest.

The 5.5% interest rate is around what you can get in an online savings account.
