What are the entrance/exit fees for leaving CUSA and joining MWC. I bet that's what the money is for.

NIU is paying $2,000,000 to join the MWC. Senter mentioned the MWC was helping UTEP with those fees to join. We can believe that UTEP will actually pay less than that or nothing at all.
CUSA signed a 5 year rights deal beginning in 2023-24, so this is year 2 and the Miners will play in year 3. They will owe 2 years of money to leave, so they will need to pay CUSA at least $1,600,000.
This is really great news! I hope it's an indication that other major donors will follow their lead to make a difference in the athletic department. Great work by Senter to secure the commitment.

Yes they do. Thankfully. We are lucky because I was mentioning the others that don’t care about the city and just enjoy the luxury of living with cheaper cost but do nothing for the city like the Hunts and Fosters

Wealthy El Pasoans don’t live here because it’s cheaper to live here — they have businesses and family here.

If I had millions I would be trying to apply it towards something that would improve the city’s quality of life like the Foster’s and Hunt’s do.
