AMEN, brother!I didn't vote because I don't know the people that will make that decision but when your conference and school need you to hold your nose and get it done, you do it. Senter claims, and seems to be a devout Christian of the Protestant persuasion. Prez Wilson is a devout Christian of the Catholic faith. Both might be opposed to the fundamentalist beliefs of Liberty University or they may not care one or the other about that. They would bring a strong fanbase, good facilities, good football and basketball. I wouldn't oppose them since I'm only interested in their athletics.
Would UTEP vote yes or no on Liberty? Please if you don't know how Wilson or Senter would vote, don't vote. I'm looking for a real feel of the situation. I know this might not be the best place to get it but it's a start.
It's not just religion affiliation. There's a reason why they couldn't buy their way into the either the SB or CUSA. I'm not sure why they get so much hate but it's more than religion. Please if you don't know how Wilson or Senter would vote, don't vote. 😂🙄
Do you think university presidents and athletic directors would pass over BYU or Notre Dame admission to their conference if they had the chance because of conflicts with religious ideals?
I was raised a Catholic, but Jesus FAWKIN’ Christ that’s ridiculous! 😂

You would be surprised as to who reads this board.Who here has ties with the Administration??
Can’t like this enoughI did not vote. However, CUSA is in no position to turn their nose at a current FBS school. So UTEP should vote yes. Though, every eastern member that gets voted in, further stretches your travel budget and builds future “voting blocks” to keep out more western members.
While this is a scary time for UTEP athletics, this could be the kick in the ass they needed. They should realize that days of allowing your football coach to continuously win 4 games a year and your basketball coach 18, isn’t going to cut it anymore.
Results matter.
