Stull announced his retirement 82 days ago. The football season ends in only 5 days and the first Football Signing Period begins in just 30 days from today.......and UTEP still has no Football Coach and has no Athletic Director?

UTSA's Athletic Director resigned 8 days AFTER Stull did and they already hired a new Athletic Director last week.

Maybe since Campos bailed out before her interview , they are in the process of interviewing a 3rd candidate.

I remember reading her interview at UTEP was suppose to be last Thursday, but she withdrew her name before Thursday. Interviews began on 13th (last Monday). But I agree, Bob retired on Aug. 31, but interviews barely began Nov 13. I guess finding a new AD is not a very high priority for UTEP right now.

UTEP Athletics is a cesspool of mediocrity, just like Natalicio wants it to be. Remember that Natalicio has been named one of the most influential people in America, yet she won't use any of her influence to improve her own athletics department. She is a disgrace. I can't wait until she retires.

Its frustrating that in 2 weeks the college football season concludes and schools will be looking to hire new coaches and we don't even have a freaking AD, a job that has been open since Aug 31. We had a great opportunity to get a head start on the HC position with Kugs leaving after the 5th game of the season, but it looks like we are going to be playing catch up. The AD should have been hired at least a month ago to get them situated here and start the hiring process for a coach. Now its looking like our new AD is going to be getting situated here and finding a new FB coach at the same time.

The UTEP ahletic dept just keeps shitting on their own leg and wiping it all over. WTF! I can't beleive with all the resources that we suck this bad.

Imagine taking all of this time and then just hiring Park. That would be the most UTEP thing that they could do.

According to Kappy’s article last week, UTEP hired Eastman and Beaudine to assist with their search for a football head coach, but they did not hire anybody to help their search for the AD job. Since it’s taking so long, maybe hiring a search firm to help with an AD hire might not have been a bad idea. Not to mention it would have been the common sense thing to do. Here was the article:

Maybe UTEP was planning to announce Park this past weekend, but then delayed it due to the stench of the combined 0-4 performance that took place this past weekend in our men’s sports. Maybe they decided that the time was not right and decided to wait few days for things to cool off, before they announce an internal promotion which will piss the majority off even more.

Is anyone aware of Natalicio ever during her tenure making a public statement stating her position on the status of our pathetic
athletic department or is she just burying her head in the sand? I guess she has on rare occasions been spotted at an event.
Very disheartening indeed.

If they are taking all this time and end up with Park? That wouldn't make too much sense. So this might be a good sign? Maybe they wanted Campos? And that back fired?
I agree. I think if it was Park, they would have made it official by now. Maybe Senter needed a few extra days to tie up some loose ends at the Citadel before he gets here.
But on the flip side, we have dumb and dumber making this important decision, so who knows????

This.

She's never been a proponent.
