OU is the only hard loss on the schedule. UNM having their 3 WRs back hasn’t made a difference as they still look terrible, arguably worse than UTEP. UTSA is losing their QB, probably their RB, and we have no idea how good Traylor’s recruits will be once they have to step up. ODU could be tough, but that’s because UTEP literally forgets how to play football in the eastern time zone.

it’s going to come down to who we return, who Dimel recruits from JUCO to fill the ranks, and if realignment starts earlier than what’s scheduled. For all we know Cowing, Praise, and Awatt could get favorable draft grades and declare or maybe Dimel gets the next Bailey Zappe from the portal. It’s tough to project next season this far out
