likely cost UTEP a bowl game this year. Looks like North Texas will go bowling with a 5-7 record and UTEP would be next in line with the next highest APR and one more 5-7 will be needed. Mississippi St and Texas are next up after UTEP with their APR scores.
Not that any of us really wanted UTEP to go bowling with a 5-7 record but it's odd to me that 2 years in a row now UTEP barely missed going to a bowl. UTEP led FAU 31-20 with about 7 minutes left in the game and lost 35-31.
