If they want to appreciate me as a fan they would start winning.
Yea leave it up to our marketing and athletic dept to do this finally but at the last game of the season, which also happens to be an afternoon game 🤦🏽♂️
I'll go for the 'Be competent at the Don' night where the team actually looks competent.
On the plus side, while it is a case of "too little, too late," at least the UTEP marketing department is trying to to something to attract fans. Usually it seems like they only do that for the home opener for football.
The $9.15 includes the game ticket. In Phoenix, you would have buy a game ticket to get access to the $2 items. Not really accurate to compare.
They're separate. Game tickets are 9.15 and a concessions special of a hot dog and soda for 9.15. From UTEP's athletics website:

I agree with you, Kane, that ticket and concessions prices are far too high for the El Paso market. Senter is a nice guy on the surface but a fvcking idiot underneath. He has no clue how to price things to get people into the DHC.
I agree about Senter, but I disagree about your thought on pricing. I don’t think anyone is attending UTEP games for their concessions and I don’t think $2 hot dogs will result in more tickets sold. I do believe that UTEP should/needs to markup concessions to make money. However 800% is just a gouge.
Senter just takes advantage of his dwindling fan base and charges $11 for a hotdog & soda because he thinks it’s a good business move. Selling it for $5 will result in less money, but fans will leave without the feeling of being raped. Dropping prices to a more reasonable price should be done, but it won’t. He doesn’t care and most fans will just stay away and watch on ESPN+
