IMO that game was the downfall of Mike Price and UTEP football since. Why we didn't have 8 guys near the end zone on that last play still perplexes me. Most people probably didnt show the next week because they were still vomiting in disgust.

Horrific game only topped by the Buffalo debacles and UAB game in 2005. The UAB game was the worst. The program never recovered from that loss. It was the end of Price's success at UTEP.

Yeah. A good AD would have told MP thank you for everything you’ve done to resurrect this program but we’re moving in a different direction. At that point the list of candidates would have been a lot better than when he was finally let go.
