talking about!! There is sooo much conference USA bashing how bad we are!!! I do agree the bottom half of the conference is awful, but I have said many times the top half is quite good and I get some crap for that...... But look Utep, la tech, uab , mid Tennessee state and western Kentucky are all good basketball schools and although it probably won't hold last year uab who didn't even win the conference beat a 3 seed and right now mid ten state who did not win the conference is beating a 2 seed at the half, sure they might get blown out in the second half but uab should have been in this year and it is frustrating this conference doesn't get the love for the top

Throw any top tier CUSA school in a "Cartel" Conference and give them twenty times the money, 100 times the exposure, 100 times easier recruiting and then what? Well, we win half the conference games and get invited to the big dance, of course. That's the new reality. We won a National Championship and danced yearly waaaaaay back when the "Cartels" were playing on an even playing field. No more. Now it's them and the "Mid-Majors".
