Funny how this works. When the trolls were shouting “let’s see what happens on the court first” the rest were predicting conference championships, NCAA runs, all of it. Now that reality hit a little different we’re all trolls. Wild how the narrative shifts when unproven expectations aren’t met.
UTEP has accomplished so much over the last 15 years, too successful for my tastes.

Anyone know Goldings Email? We complain as Miner Fans, but what are we doing to help. Let’s start looking at You Tube, Tik Tok, Reddit, Google, going to Rec Centers, church leagues, etc… and help Joe find some players for next year. “Be part of the solution, not the problem” lol 😂

Golding has a serious inferiority complex I think 🤔 He doesn’t believe Utep has a shot at any decent transfers so he doesn’t even attempt. Maybe Walden can mentor him, since Senter somehow still believes in this guy for God knows what reason!?
If Walden is able to be competitive with football recruits here at UTEP, there is absolutely no reason for Golding to attract better than average basketball talent.
At this point I think he has quit trying because he knows he’s a lame duck coach who can’t attract quality assistant coaches or quality recruits. What a terrible situation for fans who have nothing to root for.

You have to hope if the lack of recruiting or hiring activity means Senter and Golding might be quietly working out a buyout behind the scenes.
Well I would say it's too late now, but the way things are looking I don't think it matters. I still don't understand how Senter has a job (especially if he extended Golding).
Well obviously cuz MW. Senter’s basically the AD for life and the university president in waiting.
UTEP should be looking to compete in the MW. That will never happen with Wilson and Senter.
Anyone else get word that Senter is looking to retire here in the next couple of years? I sure hope there is some truth to that.
Hey now, he hired Scotty. This is the second coming, the guy who’s finally going to break the cycle of bad hires and prove that Senter actually knows what he’s doing.
Maybe Wilson is secretly firing him too!!! That’d be Awesome 👏🏼
