Meant Monday. Point is a few guys have already committed, they just wanted to announce it themselves on their social media.
If you’re going to say something is happening, it better happen. Now, it’s “I meant Monday, not Sunday”.
Typically these announcements are made during the week. Two of the guys are already committed and just haven`t posted it yet. Happens all the time.
I believe you that we signed players. The part I'm skeptical about is that they'll make the team solid.
I said that if they sign them along with dae dae grant they will be solid at the guard spot.
They still need a big man which I don’t know if they’ll be able to get.
What are the chances we land him? Seems like he should be garnering a fair amount of interest from the P5 ranks.

Surprisingly he may sign with Duquesne who was one of the worst teams in the country last year.
Wouldn't be surprised. We lost the P5 transfer guard to a worse team than Duquesne.

Yep, and Tevin Brewer visited them this weekend. They also signed McGriff who was a Terry recruit. They are obviously upset at us for stealing Verhoeven. 😉
Had you heard that Golding is planning on playing Sibley on the perimeter next year? Interesting. Kinda like the thought of that.
Yes. I think both Sibley and dos Anjos both project as more SF types offensively. Actually, I thought Sibley played mostly on the perimeter this year, unless he had a mismatch defensively. When I rewatched the NMSU game to get a better look at McKinney, I was surprised how well Sibley played in that game offensively. If he can bring that type of play consistently next year, we will be in good shape at that spot.
I was kind of thinking it was the guys who visited last week. Adding Grant and Givance would be nice.
Yeah, he kind of played that hybrid role. Definitely played out on the perimeter and shot pretty good from outside, but he also displayed that mid-range game.
I kind of took it as Golding will be playing him more like a guard...maybe a 2-3 combo type. Essentially he'll probably serve as the 3 with his length but it definitely sounds like he'll be utilized a little different next year.
I honestly feel like he pulled back on the reigns due to the fact that we had all these upper classmen that had been with the team for a couple/few years and were running the show. Sibley seemed to me to be the guy with the most upside. Really liked his game offensively. He just wasn't very assertive. I think he left a lot on the table. I bet that changes next year as top dawg. Consistency will be key though, as you stated.
I see. Not sure I see him as a two. He may be able to defend with his length, but I don't see the ball skills to play there yet. You have me thinking now 🤔

I agree. I think Sibley would be a little out-of-position as a 2. I love the idea of him at the 3 spot the way he played this past season.
