UTEP LA Tech Game Thread

Way to hold defense!! Playing very good on that side of the ball.
Defense giving us all kinds of reasons to win this one. The offense has checked out again, but they kind of always do.
Only on UTEP broadcasts can you hear the wind but not the ref calls.
It’s always been that way. At least that’s why I stopped watching UTEP games on ESPN+. Don’t have that problem with the EFL and FA cup games.
I believe they’re located in an open area atop the press box. That needs to get enclosed someday.
They have the crowds help but we don't make a difference

Great half Miners, despite your head coach’s inept offensive play calling. Speaking of which Dimel, remember football is a 60 minute game. You haven’t won shit yet!
The offense likes to tease us every game. This game we had two great drives, two drives that started out great but ended in turnovers, and then a whole lot of ineptitude. With the way the D is playing if the offense could be consistent these Miners would be a pretty good team
I’ll take it a step further. This could be a damn good team if the offense could be consistent. Our defense has been beyond good as of late.
D line is playing out of their minds. Need to hold them coming out of halftime. That series is huge.
Got to admit that was a good hit on Awatt for a fumble but the Hankins one was unhankins like as rb’s know they have to tuck it in in open field. That killed a good drive. That UTEP d line came to play.
Should be 3-28….the defense is killing it again! They need some points in the 2nd half. La Tech will bring it. They are well coached. Let’s see how Dimel handles the adjustments
Our Defense is the real deal. We gave latech’s QB hell I’m the first half. Let’s see if we can maintain that pressure in the second half. Our offense needs to take better care of the ball and score. We missed out on some scoring opportunities. As bad as latech played in the first half they’re still in the game. We need to come out fired up in the second half. .
I hope the adjustments work. The defense needs more time OFF the field during an offensive drive. Brings back memories of the Price years where they became gassed.
We’ll need that D to step up on the first series of the 2nd half. Can’t let La Tech get a TD out of the gate.
Not running on 2nd and 2 was kind of the impetus to our offensive sputtering.
That’s on Dimel…if he’s calling the offense.
This Miner is better conditioned and physically stronger than any Miner team I can remember.
