Utep just took down Arizona 3-2 in Las Cruces. They play Northwestern tonight in El Paso. Talk about turning around a program. Great job, Coach Wallis.

Arizona was 3-0 before today. I believe they finished fifth last year in their conference. Not great but beating a P5 is great in any sport. Northwestern…I’m not sure about.
Utep just fought off five set points to win set one against Northwestern.
Utep wins in 3 and takes down two P5 teams in one day!!
Arizona just beat NMSU in five. Utep takes on NMSU on Sunday in El Paso. Keep it going, ladies!
Good game against Northwestern. After a really intense first set UTEP crushed the 2nd and 3rd.
Lots of athletics department people on hand to watch the match including Jim Senter, Nick Popplewell, Jeff Darby, Danny Garcia, Julie Levesque, etc
Looks like the beginnings of very good season. The libero, Alyssa Sianez, is an El Paso High grad and a really amazing player.
